[Principle]

The HC-B023 Analyzer and Test Strip

measures both the total and glycohemoglobin

of a capillary or venous blood sample. The test

strip captures the hemoglobin and allows the

analyzer to perform the measurement. The

analyzer uses an optical reflectance

measurement technique to measure the

relative concentration of the hemoglobin.

The ratio of the glycohemoglobin to the total

hemoglobin is calculated and reported as %

HbA1c units.
